DANIEL B. PETERS

Areas of Practice
Daniel’s practice focuses on real estate and commercial law. Daniel can assist with a range of real estate matters, including the purchase and sale of real estate, lending secured by real property, and litigation of disputes, including disptues related to the purchase and sale of real property, adverse possession, boundary disputes, evictions (unlawful detainer), contractor disputes and more. Daniel’s commercial practice includes assistance in setting up new companies, preparing governance documents, reviewing and preparing agreements and litigating contract and business related disputes.   

Education
Daniel received a bachelor of Arts in Business Law from Washington State University in 2000, and graduated magna cum laude from Willamette University’s College of Law in 2010.  

Memberships and Activities
Daniel is a member of the Pierce County Bar Association.  Daniel volunteers with the Public Health Reserve Corps, and has also been active with the King County Housing Justice Project (for which he received the KCBA Volunteer Attorney of the Year Award), the board of directors of Community for Youth, King County’s Neighborhood Legal Clinics and several other organizations.

Personal
Daniel was born and raised in Puyallup, and is an alum of Puyallup High School. Dan and his wife Sara enjoy hiking and taking in Washington’s beaches and mountains, when they aren’t working or (for Sara) studying for a graduate degree in digital sociology. Dan is trying to instill an appreciation in Sara for the Seahawks, Mariners and Cougars, so far with limited success.
